Celebrating Female Founders on International Women’s Day
On this International Women’s Day, we've been reflecting on some of the hard-working, smart, rockstar women founders we have had the honor to work with since 143 Communications launched. It's impossible to fit them all into this post so we're just highlighting a few. Definitely check out their profiles, please give them a like and support these incredible women who are doing so much in their industries...
Cristina Bagozzi, a former Follain executive, took her experiences as a child, her belief that scent is a powerful way to tap into emotions and her passion for clean beauty to launch fragrance brand Emmotiv, that's at the intersection of beauty & wellness.
Lilibridge is founded by two Boston women combining their love for the beach and passion for style. All their designs are the result of a long, creative and technical process, which begins with an original sketch and ends with a hand-screen printing technique on their variety of bags.
Bridget Hunter-Jones, co-founder of Impact Biosystems, closed her seed round just nine days before giving birth to her first baby and is on a mission to revolutionize the health and fitness space through the world’s most advanced muscle scanner
The School of Mom, founded by therapist Sarah Harmon, helped exhausted and enraged moms let it all out when daycares were closing, school quarantines weren't manageable and moms were expected to carry the weight of the world on our shoulders during a global pandemic. The School of Mom took moms outside on a frigid winter day in 2021 to just let it all out.
These are just a few, but we're so in awe of all the female founders we've had the opportunity to spotlight in the media over the last year and a half. Congratulations to all the female founders out there who are making a difference and more importantly, showing the next generation of girls that anything is possible!
