Client Spotlight: Bridget Hunter-Jones, CEO of Impact Biosystems

Bridget Hunter-Jones is the CEO and co-founder of Impact Biosystems, the creators of Pact, which is the world’s first full-feedback connected massager. After just one short call with Bridget, we knew we wanted to tell her story because it was incredible and we knew it was something the media would grab onto immediately - and they did. 

To start, Bridget managed to close her series seed round at $4.5 million just a casual nine days before giving birth to her first child. Nine days before giving birth! I can tell you that nine days before my daughter was born, I could barely walk let alone close a seed round. Not only is Bridget incredibly inspiring and impressive, but here at 143, we were also taken by her personal mission. Bridget is working hard to diversify her entire industry by giving more women seats at the table. She has built and scaled a team of predominantly female engineers with a culture and brand that respects and promotes diversity. As moms ourselves, we also love how Bridget credits her team's support of welcoming her not only as their CEO but also a new mom. Bridget says, 

"I can’t tell you how many meetings I’ve had where my team presents slides to me while I’m in the back of the conference room standing, bouncing my baby on my hip. It’s a lot to balance (both literally and figuratively)".
