Client Spotlight: TASTE 2024 in Livermore Valley
We recently returned to the Livermore Valley wine region in Northern California, a client we’ve been representing for more than two years now, for the region’s marquee annual event, TASTE: The Livermore Valley Wine Experience.
The weekend of events kicked off with Taste Our Terroir, an incredible food and wine competition where Livermore Valley wineries and local restaurants partner together and vie to be voted Judge’s Best, Most innovative and Best Classic pairings. As our team was responsible for securing the event judges, we also had the honor of being sequestered with the judges while they tasted and sipped 15 different food and wine pairings. The esteemed judges included Decanter wine critic Jonathan Cristaldi, San Francisco-based chef Reem Assil and Wine Enthusiast writer and Sommelier Tonya Pitts.
Following Taste our Terroir, we had the opportunity to experience a number of the TASTE events including walking through the vineyards, a wine and cheese tasting and a Luxury Somm Dinner hosted by wine writer and influencer, Kristy Wenz. *Fun fact: We sent Kristy on a press trip to Livermore a year ago and she loved the region so much, she has returned back several times to host events!
Our team really looks forward to TASTE every year because not only do we love experiencing the region ourselves, but we also love seeing the judges' and other media’s reactions to Livermore. Many of them end up wanting to return for potential future stories as they see the camaraderie of this close knit community and why it’s such a unique wine region.
